At the beginning of 21st century, Pakistan is facing a lot of multiple challenges. The first and foremost is to improve literacy percentage which is at its lowest ebb and the educational scenario has sunk into pale of looming darkness the next urgent confronting issue is the development of curriculum auspiciously matching with modern trends.
Obviously the government alone can’t meet the challenge unless the private sector takes initiative. Proudly speaking Marjan Educational Trust has sponsored a network of institutions from tertiary to the university level in Pakistan is the zenith and culmination of its vision to increase the literacy ratio in the society. The establishment of Institute of Southern Punjab in the year 2002 at Multan is a vital and pivotal venture of Marjan educational trust. It is a pioneer chartered Institute in this region of Southern Punjab. The Institute manages to deliver instructions in the demanded areas of emerging sciences and technology. The Institute in consonance with its Charter established the faculty of Management Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanity. Rich technological development is ubiquitous at every knook and corner of the Institute. In fact education is imparted according to the modern technique and technology blended with Islamic values, indigenous culture and tradition found here. Islamic traditions towards learning are very liberal indeed and are best illustrated by Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) saying “Seek knowledge even if thou hast to go to China”.
We are committed to provide unique quality of education as would lead to excellence not only in this world but also in the world hereafter. We believe that modern methods and approaches must be deployed to motivate the students to raise their self-actualization abilities:
I wish that the Institute of Southern Punjab (ISP) may progress by leaps and bounds.
